Swoboda Piano Quartet in Concert

We would like to invite you to the Swoboda Piano Quartet concert that will be presented at Market Hall, February 21st, 2015, 7:30 pm.

We will be performing an eclectic mix of great pieces by J.S. Bach, J. Haydn, P.Sarasate, G.F. Handel - J.Halvorsen and R.Schumann.

Tickets are $35.00 adults and $5.00 students and can be purchased at the Market Hall Box Office or at the door. Buy now.

The Quartet will donate 10 percent of the proceeds to the Kawartha Youth Orchestra.

Peterborough Performs

Accademia Musica students will be performing in the upcoming "Peterborough Performs" concert on Wednesday Nov. 5th at Market Hall.

Kiwanis Congratulations

Swoboda Piano Quartet in Concert

Swoboda Quartet plays the "French Connection."

The Swoboda Piano Quartet will play their program titled "French Connection" on Saturday March 1st at Market Hall.

The program will feature works by French composers Gabriel Fauré, Maurice Ravel and César Franck.

The quartet made up of four members of the Swoboda family is no stranger to the Peterborough music scene, having performed numerous times in the past at various venues in the city.

"We are very excited not only for this concert, but to also be doing our first tour!" says cellist Mateusz. "Two other cities for now, but we're hoping to grow that in the future." The group will also be playing the program in Guelph and Owen Sound. Tickets are $35 for adults, $5 for students and will be available at the door or by calling 705 743 2457.

Winter recital

Young Artists of Accademia Musica present a Winter Concert.
Over 60 students of piano, violin, viola and cello will perform solo and ensemble pieces on Sunday Dec. 8th at 2 pm at Market Hall in Peterborough.

They will be joined in the second half of the performance by students of the Move n Groove dance studio.

Admission is free and there will be a reception after the concert.
