Accademia Musica was founded in 1988 by Polish Canadian violin/piano duo Ewa and Witold Swoboda. The program has provided private music lessons to generations of students, both young and old. Students of Accademia Musica have been top prize winners in countless music festivals, from the local Peterborough Kiwanis Music Festival through the provincial and national level.
While most of our students continue their studies in professions other than music, most keep in touch and tell us over and over about the difference their music education made in their lives.
