INTRODUCTION

Accademia Musica is a private music education program with lessons in violin, viola, cello and piano.
We teach weekly private lessons in string instruments and piano. These lessons are supplemented by group lessons, recital performances, participation in local music festivals and community events.

We use the Suzuki Method.
This method emphasizes the developement of listening skills in learning music. We believe in training first the ear and the mind, then the body to play a musical instrument.

We have been providing in the music instruction in Peterborough and the Kawarthas since 1988.
The program was started by Polish Canadian piano/violin duo Ewa and Witold Swoboda and has taught a generation of musicians and music appreciators. Visit our ALUMNI page to see what some of our former students are doing now!
